Morning Prayer

Good morning, Father. Thank you for the gift of this new day—for the breath in my lungs and the chance to start fresh. As I step into whatever today holds, I'm asking You to guide my steps and my words, because I know that "in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:6). Help me to see the people around me the way You see them, with compassion and patience, even when things get stressful or complicated. I don't want to just go through the motions today—I want to live fully awake to Your presence, trusting that Your mercies really are "new every morning" like You promise (Lamentations 3:23). Give me wisdom for the decisions ahead and courage for whatever challenges come my way. I'm so grateful I don't have to do this day alone.
