StillWaters started with a simple, honest confession: I didn't know how to pray.

My girlfriend is deeply faithful. She prays multiple times a day — naturally, beautifully, without hesitation. When she'd ask me to lead a prayer, I'd freeze. Not because I didn't believe, but because I didn't know the words. I felt like I was doing it wrong.

So I built something to help. Not to replace prayer — but to open the door to it. A tool that could meet me where I was: uncertain, willing, but in need of a gentle push.

That's what StillWaters is. It's the companion I wish I'd had when I first started trying to talk to God.

We believe faith is a journey, not a destination. Some people have been walking with God their entire lives. Others are taking their very first step. Both are welcome here.

StillWaters is our most personal project. It wasn't built for a client or for revenue. It was built because Kevin needed it, and because we believe others need it too. It represents everything we stand for as a company: faith-driven, people-first, and built to last.

StillWaters is powered by Claude AI from Anthropic — one of the most thoughtful and safety-focused AI models in the world. Every prayer, devotional, and scripture exploration is generated with care, grounded in real scripture, and reviewed for theological sensitivity.

The application is built on Laravel, hosted on our own infrastructure (not a faceless cloud), and engineered with the same standards we bring to enterprise client work. It's fast, secure, and designed to be around for the long haul.
