Evening Prayer

Father, as this day comes to a close, I come to You with a grateful heart for every mercy You carried me through, even the ones I barely noticed. Thank You for being my peace when my thoughts ran ahead of me, and for reminding me that You are near when I feel tired or unsure. Your Word says, “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety” (Psalm 4:8), so I place this night in Your hands and trust You with my rest. Please forgive me for the places where I fell short today, and gently help me grow without shame. Watch over my home, my loved ones, and my mind, and let Your Spirit quiet every fear. I trust that You are the God who “sustains me” and never leaves me alone, and I rest in Your care tonight (Psalm 55:22, NIV).
